What this site does with an email address.
Plain language, for this marketing site. Updated 19 October 2026. It isn’t a policy for a paid product, because there isn’t one yet.
Who this covers
This page covers asterly.com, or whichever host serves this marketing site. It does not cover a future app on a separate subdomain. When accounts exist, that app will need its own notice.
What you can send us
The waitlist form asks for an email address and the page you submitted it from. A hidden field exists to catch simple bots. Do not type anything into it.
On this version of the site, the server checks that the address looks real and then discards it. It writes a log line with the email’s domain and a short hash, not the address itself, so we can see that the form works. That log is not a mailing list. The page will tell you it did not save the address and will offer a draft email to hello@asterly.com. If you send that draft, your mail provider delivers whatever you wrote, and we will have the address because you emailed it.
When a provider is connected
A later deploy may store addresses in Loops or Resend so we can reply about early access. The environment variable WAITLIST_PROVIDER has to be set, and the send code in the repo has to be finished, before that happens. Until both are true, nothing is added to a list. We will update this page when storage starts. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This marketing site does not run a third-party analytics script and does not set a tracking cookie. Your browser may still keep ordinary connection logs on the host that serves the site.
Recordings
The Chrome recorder and guide editor in this project are a separate, local pilot. They are not this website. Recordings in that pilot stay in the browser. This marketing site does not receive screenshots, video, or click history. Do not email us a recording that contains customer data.
Children
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Contact
Privacy questions go to hello@asterly.com. The address is provisional until the domain is final. If you emailed the waitlist and want that message deleted, reply to the thread and say so.
